I started making ceramics at adult education evening classes in Gijón, Spain and Tower Hamlets, London.
In 2013 I became a member of Turning Earth's open access ceramics studio in East London and enjoyed belonging to this community of artists and makers. Following three years in Staffordshire, I am currently based in Manchester and work from Studio 65 as part of Manchester Ceramics Collective.
My intention is to make work that engages. Work that people stop to look at, touch and pick up. Work that tells stories of production and encourages people to notice the marks and forms in the objects around them.
